The Sheriff’s Office has no objection to you getting your belongings out of the car. You must, however, work with the tow company that is storing it as they may have a lien or claim against the car and your belongings for their storage fees.

Typically, if your case is still under investigation, the report will not be released, until the case has been adjudicated. Suspects/defendants may obtain the report from their defense attorney.
