Lampson Field is a general aviation airport and the sole public use facility in Lake County. The Public Works Department oversees the operation, maintenance, and improvements to the Airport. Lampson Field is located in the Western part of Lake County approximately 2.2 miles from the edge of Clear Lake and 3.3 miles south of Lakeport which is the County seat.
Runway & Weather
The airport runway, designated Runway 10-28, is 3,600 feet long and 60 feet wide with; an 85-foot displaced threshold at the east end. The runway is lighted. A full-length parallel taxiway is located on the south side of the runway. Glide slop indicator (PAPI-4-degrees) is available on Runway 28. An automated weather observing system (AWOS II) is accessible at 118.35 MHz or by telephone at 707-262-0380.

Private fuel service (Card-Lock System-VISA or Mastercard) as well as small aircraft, and general aviation services are available at the airport.
